Overage is billed monthly at your plan's rate, only past your included quota, and only once it totals $0.50 or more. Cached responses don't count toward usage. See the docs for full details.
Every call to /v1/screenshot — image or PDF — counts as one render against your monthly quota. Calls to /v1/extract count against a separate AI extraction quota (Starter and Growth only); adding include_screenshot=true to an extraction also consumes one screenshot render. Identical requests are cached, and cache hits (x-cache: HIT) don't count against either quota.
